This site is a knowledgebase dedicated to providing you with information, forms, and resources needed for your success.
A knowledge base is a special kind of database for knowledge management. It provides the means for computerized collection, organization, and retrieval of knowledge. Simple knowledgebases are commonly used to capture explicit knowledge of an organization, including troubleshooting, articles, white papers, user manuals and others. The primary benefit of such a knowledge base is to provide a means to discover solutions to problems that have known solutions which can be re-applied by others, less experienced in the problem area.
The most important aspect of a knowledgebase is the quality of information it contains. The best knowledge bases have carefully written articles that are kept up to date, an excellent information retrieval system (search engine), and a carefully designed content format and classification structure. Our knowledgebase is using the MediaWiki platform.
A wiki (IPA:<wee-kee> <wick-ey>) is a type of website that allows users to easily add, remove, or otherwise edit all content, very quickly and easily, sometimes without the need for registration. This ease of interaction and operation makes a wiki an effective tool for collaborative writing. The term wiki is a shortened form of wiki wiki which is from the native language of Hawaii (Hawaiian), where it is commonly used as an adjective to denote something "quick" or "fast" (Hawaiian dictionary)
